How it works

  1. 1

    Start a group

Set the contribution, how often you pay, and how many people are in. Invite members by phone number.

  2. 2

    Agree the order

Draw it at random, let the group vote, or set it by hand. Once it is locked, everyone can see who is paid when.

  3. 3

    Pay with mobile money

Each round, members pay from MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo wallets. The app confirms every payment as it lands.

  4. 4

    Get paid on the day

When everyone has paid, the round's recipient gets the pool on their own MoMo number. Then the next round starts.

Built for trust

Nobody chases anybody

Reminders go out before the due date, on the day, and when someone is late. The leader is told, so they don't have to ask.

Every cedi is recorded

One ledger for contributions, payouts and fees. Anyone in the group can see what moved and when.

Fair when things go wrong

Late or missing payments open a dispute automatically, with a clear path to resolve it: an extension, a note, or removal.

Your numbers stay private

Members see names. Only the group leader sees what they need to run payouts, and your MoMo number is never shown to other members.

Questions

What does it cost?

Joining and running a group is free. Members pay the small mobile money fee shown before every payment, so the pool is always exactly what the group agreed. The recipient's payout carries a small platform fee (1%, capped at GH₵ 5) plus the transfer fee, both shown before the leader requests the payout.

Who holds the money?

Contributions are collected and paid out through FloatVault, a payments platform that works with the mobile money networks. Susu Tracker keeps the books and the schedule.

Why does a payout take a little while?

Every payout is checked and approved by our team before it is sent, to catch wrong numbers and mistakes. You and the recipient are notified when it lands.

Can I pay in cash?

Not inside the app. Every contribution goes through mobile money so the pool always matches the money actually held.

What if a member stops paying?

After a grace period set by the group, a dispute is opened automatically. The leader and our team can grant an extension or remove the member. Contributions already paid stay in the pool.

Is it available outside Ghana?

Not yet. Susu Tracker works with Ghana mobile numbers and cedis for now.
